Transport and logistics opportunities of Kazakhstan presented in Singapore

The delegation of JSC "KTZ Express" took part in the second Global Forum "Future China Global Forum 2017" in Singapore.

The Forum, designed to become a forum for discussing global trends in the market of the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, new logistics initiatives, gathered more than 400 participants: heads of state and private structures, traders and representatives of the regional logistics business, banking and financial sector, and IT business.

At the plenary sessions, actual perspective directions of development of cooperation within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative were discussed.

At the session with the participation of industrial and industrial groups of Indonesia and Singapore - Jababeka, Surbana Jurong International, EXIM Bank and China Construction Bank - the Executive Director of JSC "KTZ Express" S. Anashkin delivered a speech.

He noted the growing demand of new logistics solutions for the Eurasia land route with the participation of Kazakhstan, which plays a key role in the formation of a logistics hub between the trade poles of Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

"Today, a new architecture of transit traffic of the Eurasian transit bridge is being formed. For nine years, the volume of Kazakhstan's investments in transport and logistics infrastructure amounted to more than 26 billion US dollars, which stimulates cargo flows, development of trade-industrial and logistics clusters involving private investors and transnational companies," Anashkin said.

The participants of the plenary session noted that the current regional forms of cooperation between the countries contribute to the advancement of international business, the opening of new industries in the countries of the Silk Road.

Within the framework of the forum S. Anashkin held talks with the General Director for Northeast Asia of PSA International Pte Ltd Roger Tan on the prospects of cooperation on potential logistic projects of the Silk Road and the development of transportations on regular container services with South-East Asia and the regions of Eurasia.
